Birthparty of a Lifetime

I had a birthday party at Mommy's work. I invited a few friends and my cousin Hadley. We did all kinds of fun stuff. We ate pizza and cupcakes, played games in the gym, bounced in the bounce house, and swam in the pool. Good times! Happy Birthday to me!

Kyle and Zach gave me this awesome airport that matches the garage that Uncle Dave gave me. Awesome, I can now build my empire!

My friend Zach.
This is my friend Alyse. She was at camp this summer when I came with Mommy to work. She gave me this awesome fire truck and ambulance that makes lots of noise! Thanks Alyse.

Kyle and I checked out the pool situation before it was time for us to go down there.

Bouncing was so much fun. Eric, Hadley's brother, came in and bounced with us.

We played a game that involved a scooter race. I know it looks that Kyle and Zack are winning but really I am just lapping them. Sure that is it . . . lapping them.

Hadley had lots of fun at my party. She loved playing in the pool and splashing her mommy!

We also played duck, duck, duck, goose. I loved this game. We had so much fun playing it at my party I tried to get mom to play it with me at home . . . just the two of us . . . not as fun that way. Trust me.

Joe Cool at School

I had my first day of school and I love it. I get to come to school with mommy. She is my teacher. My other teacher is Ms. Laura. She is really fun. I love going to school and playing with the other kids. We sing songs, read books, learn letters and numbers, and do projects. We also play lots of games running around and swim and play in the bounce house.

This was my first day of school. Yeah! Don't you just love my baseball backpack?

This is story time. I love reading and listening to stories.

These are some of my friends at school. So fun. (We have to wear wristbands so we don't get mixed in with the child center kids.

This is my new friend Louis. He is so fun. We go swimming together on Fridays. I love playing with Louis.

Violet is Incredible

This weekend my friend Violet came to visit me. She came with her parents and they visited with mine. It was all very convenient. We are only a few days apart in age so we see eye to eye on many things.

We went to the Lincoln Park Zoo and saw this awesome John Deere tractor. I was dressed for the occasion in my John Deere shirt so we had to have a photo opp. Daddy and I look great up there don't we? Daddy wants a Camero, but really I think this would be a much more practical choice for our next vehicle.

Violet and I had fun exploring the zoo together. (No we didn't plan to match.)

We went to a great candy store in downtown Naperville. We bought some yummy candy sticks and then fed the ducks and geese by the river walk.

Violet and I also went to Wendy's. We had Frosty's and they were amazing. Violet and I just love being silly together.
