My Easter Weekend
As I have already said, I was in Michigan for Easter so here are some pictures of what I did with myself while I was home.
Yes, my mom dressed me up like a chicken. No, I don't know why she did this. Yes, I know I look ridiculous!
I love my big duck. Aunt Emily gave me this last year and he is only a little smaller than I am!
This is me before Easter weekend, but it is still in Michigan. Hannah is great at building stuff with tinker toys.
Aunt Gwen is also an excellent Tinker Toy engineer. She helped me put some cool stuff together. I love playing with my Aunt Gwendolyn.
Papa played this awesome game with me. He hid behind his door and then I came and found him.
When I found him he would jump out and scare me. It just cracked me up. We did it about 100 times.
Bobbie and Papa have cool toys and I love playing with all of them. Bobbie told me that me daddy played with some of these toys when he was little!
Here I am sitting on the floor at my Bobbie and Papa's house.
Bobbie and I had a ton of fun playing with eggs. In fact, I ended up with an egg in my diaper that night. If you think that sounds uncomfortable, you should try sleeping with an egg in your pants.
For some reason everyone was really interested in getting me a hat this weekend. It isn't like I am pale or anything. But you know what? I will not wear one. (I saw that dad bought me a baseball hat anyway.)
Remember I mentioned the creepy bunny in an earlier post? Well, here I am in front of him. I am totally right about the creepy thing, aren't I?

It's not easy being green.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day! This is a picture of mommy and me wearing green. I am told that is what we do today. Good times. Anyway, I had a very fun day.
This is Grandma and I at the mall. We were inside the mall, but there were flowers and brick walkways. I love coming to this mall. It is so pretty and exciting. I thought about picking some of the flowers for grandma and mommy, but I decided that probably wasn't a very good idea.
I loved all the walkways in this place. Grandpa and Grandma also took me up on this walkway that went over the road. It was so cool. The best part was the moving sidewalks. I thought they were awesome to ride so I wanted to do it again, but mom wouldn't let me.
My mall at home has a climbing area, but this place had a giant running space that was full of other kids. There was creepy bunny looking at us in the distance, but I just ignored him.
Grandpa took me over to this fountain and this little girl and I played in the water. It was so cool and fun I splashed my hands, my face, and my hair. I tried to climb in, but mom said no. She always stops me from doing all the fun stuff.
At the end of our day we went to McDonalds and mom bought me a shamrock shake. It was great. She didn't think I would be able to suck the milkshake out the straw, but I was.

Think Small
Sometimes you just have to downsize. We have a nice house, but sometimes it feels good to get into a small space and explore.
This is my smile. I love having my picture taken so now I work on making a cute face for the camera. Trust me mom and dad eat this up too!
In the family room my toys always get lost and everything is so big. This is fun because everything stays with me and nothing gets lost.
Okay, now somebody get me out of here.

Hanging with my Cousin
Today we visited with Aunt Laurie and Hadley. Hadley is getting bigger and she is sitting up so well. Aunt Laurie does some cool workouts and games with her. She is very strong and likes to play with all her toys. I actually wanted to play with her toys. At home I would rather play with anything else than toys, but hers were so interesting.
Hadley was in such a good mood. She is so sweet!
We were playing together, kind of, then mom put me right next to her for a picture. I was cool with that, but then Hadley touched me.
Hey! I was not cool with that. Come on, we can play together, but please don't touch.
I liked Hadley's phone toy. This is her phone I am talking on. I used it for a while but then she started getting calls so I had to pass it on to her.
Here we are sitting together without touching. I like that much better.
Hadley and I played the piano together. We played an amazing duet. She played the low notes and I played the higher notes. Aunt Laurie helped a bit, but we had a good time.

A Reader's a Reader No Matter How Small!
I am a pretty smart guy! I love going to the library for some reading and play time. Mommy and I go every Thursday for class. I try to pay attention, but it is sooooo long.
Miss Jane is our teacher. I love to watch the other kids. They like to dance and sing. I just watch them. Sometimes I prefer to look out the window or I try to explore the other parts of the library. Mommy always makes me stay in one place though -- can you believe it?
After class is over we go to the play area and do puzzles and play with the other kids. I enjoy taking the puzzles apart more than putting them all together.
After all that learning at class and playing with my friends I like to kick back and do a little reading. "School" can be kind of stressful. Mom tells me I have no idea what the future will hold!
Today, March 2, is Dr. Seuss's birthday. There is a new movie coming out with Horton in it so there is lots of good Horton stuff around.
We went to Target today and met some really nice people. They asked if I would sit with them while they read me a story. I said, "Sure!" so she read me Go Dog, Go. I liked it so much Daddy bought it for me. The theme of the event was "A reader's a reader no matter how small." (In the book Horton says, "A person's a person no matter how small.")
After they were done they gave me some Horton ears. I don't quite get the ears, but I guess that is the price of hearing the story. I have to wear goofy ears -- whatever.
I let the ladies at the store do it, but mom, please. She is crazy sometimes. Please tell her I look ridiculous. (Notice we both have on Cat in the Hat shirts!)
I am one goofy boy!
