Celebrating D-Day

On June 6 we went to Cantigny. It was super fun. There was a museum which I really didn't understand. I did love the tanks and helicopters all around the place. I was allowed to climb in and around them. There was a special celebration for D-Day and even though I don't really understand what that is everything was pretty awesome.

This was a giant helicopter that people we looking in and going inside. I really didn't want to because I didn't believe it was safe.

This is a gun. No not a replica or a pretend gun. An actual gun.

Am I the only one who is concerned about this?

This was a man mommy met and talked to. She said he was there for the battle on D-Day and that he was important. I got to shake his hand.

I had lots of fun playing with Eric and all my other cousins.

Eric and I both got cool guns. Don't worry, I checked them out. They are safe.
