Happy Birthday, America!

Happy Independence Day! Mom tells me that this is an important holiday in American history. I guess that is something that I will have to learn about later. Anyway, I had a great day. Mom said my day was very much, "all-American." Here is what I did.

Aunt Gwendolyn took me to the parade in Mokena because mommy had to take daddy to the airport. The parade was so super fun. We got candy and there were motorcycles and fire engines. What could be better?

I love hanging out with my cousin Sarah!

I don't know why we don't to more parades. Candy, family, friends -- seriously does life get anymore fun?
In the afternoon, we hung around the pool. Hannah was having so much fun, I decided I wanted to go in too.
She was nice enough to help me out and take me around the pool. I love playing in the pool, especially on a hot day.
Aunt Gwen's friends came over in the afternoon. The girls were inside talking. I was chatting with Uncle Fred and his friend Kurt. Us guys have to stick together.
When we came home I played bikes with the neighbors. They have bigger bikes than me, but mommy says I have to learn how to pedal before I get a big bike.
I learned to drink out of the hose. I really, really, liked doing this.
Mommy put me to work and we watered the flowers. What a great day!
