A Visit from Grandpa and Bobby

Okay, here is the deal. My grandpa and grandma came to visit. Mommy was trying to work with me to get me to say, "Grandma" and "Grandpa." I can't say Grandpa, and for Grandma I just said Bobby. That is it. I decided I didn't want her to be called Grandma -- that is Grandma Booth. Now she is Bobby.

So anyway my Grandpa and Bobby came to visit this weekend and we had a wonderful time! Here is what we did.
On Friday after I woke up from my nap, Grandpa took me for my first sled ride. I had a great time riding around in style. The snow was cold, but I had fun ridding up and down the snow drifts.
Here is me holding Grandpa's shovel he used when he was a little boy. I was a little confused because I went from riding around in style on a sled to shoveling snow. I worked for a little while, but then I decided to go in. Good thing mom was waiting with some hot chocolate.
On Saturday we went to the DuPage Children's Museum. It was totally awesome!!! Usually, I get stuck in the stroller and taken out at certain points. Here there was no stroller and I never heard the words, "Don't touch." This is Bobby and I using the giant lite brite. I really liked this part and I didn't want to be taken away from it. That is until I realized all the other fun stuff there was to do.
I learned the sounds musical instruments make in the music room. I couldn't get over the fact that I was allowed to bang and hit everything. I LOVE THIS PLACE!
Check out these Giant Tinkertoys! They are huge. I played with some original Tinkertoys at Grandma and Grandpa Booth's house, but they weren't like these. They were so big I could hardly hold them up!
Isn't this water table awesome! The water was kind of cold, but there were so many toys in it. I could splash and play with all the toys in it. My favorite thing to was fill up a little plastic cup over and over.
After playing in the water area, mom took me under the table and we climbed up into this bubble. It was so fun watching all the water come down on us. It was really cool to watch.

After getting wet in the water area we headed over to the wind area. There was a wind tunnel that made me feel like I had my head out the window of the car. It was pretty cool. I was supposed to wear these goggles, but as you can see they don't do anything for my apperance so I refused.
I have lots of toys, but I don't usually play with them. It is much more fun to play with other things in the house, for example the plastic cubbard in the kitchen or mommy's sock drawer. Bobby kept asking me to play on the floor with my toys so I had fun with that. Maybe I will have to try this again sometimes.
We went over Teri and Joe's house and had some pizza with them. I played pool with Grandpa and I am pretty good. (I know it looks like he is helping me, but he is really just holding me. The skills are all mine.) I actually hit some of the balls in the pockets which is more than my mommy can say. She wasn't very good at all.
I love playing on the floor with Bobby. She cracks me up!
The best part of having Bobby come is that she gives me treats that my mom would never give me. Here I am eating some cake. Yum!
